Truck Accident on US 71 South

This morning, I read in today's paper about a big rig that rammed 4 vehicles and how the driver was ticketed for driving too fast.  As would be expected, the lives of the people in the 4 vehicles have been changed instantly.  We used to know an adjuster that worked for a big trucking company, and he said the moment an accident occurred, he was called to report to the area immediately in order to get statements from the other people involved in the wreck.  He referenced one time when he was called in the middle of the night and was immediately on a plane for Phoenix, Arizona, to investigate the accident.  This is why we recommend you contact an attorney as soon as possible before giving a statement; and as we say, get the toothpaste out of the tube.  Please feel free to give us a call regarding any legal question or matter you may have.  Our number is (501) 376-3564, and of course, we give FREE CONSULTATIONS.

Medical Bills

While the costs of affording health insurance keeps rising, there is another way to cover your medical bills when injured in a car wreck.  It is under your Medical Payments coverage of your auto policy.  Most people carry the standard $5,000; however, you can raise the coverage higher at hardly any extra cost.  The highest I have seen the Medical Payments coverage to be is $25,000.  This means that you have $25,000 to pay toward your medical bills.  If you get an ambulance bill and it is $800, it gets paid by your Medical Payments coverage.  The bills are paid in full until the coverage is exhausted.  This allows you to get the medical treatment you need if you do not have health insurance.  If you have a question about any legal matter you have, please do not hesitate to call us at (501) 376-3564.  We provide FREE CONSULTATIONS.

Auto Accident on Interstate 430

While in traffic on Interstate 430 trying to get onto Interstate 40, you are in an auto accident.  You find out the driver of the other vehicle does not have any insurance.  You think you have "full" coverage that should cover everything, but do you?  There are three types of coverages: 1. Liability which covers you when you hit someone; 2. Uninsured which covers you if the other party does not have insurance at the time of the accident; and 3. Underinsured which is additional coverage you can have if the other side only has the minimum limits of $25,000/$50,000, (which means they only have $25,000 for your injury), which may not be enough.  If you want to learn more about what coverages are very important to have on your policy, please feel free to give us a call at (501) 376-3564.  We provide FREE CONSULTATIONS on any legal matter you may have.

Car Wreck on Interstate 630

One day you may be sitting in your car in a line of traffic at the end of Interstate 630 and may get hit from the rear while waiting. Questions will come up about how much insurance coverage did the person in the other vehicle have.  Did they have the minimum requirements of $25,000/$50,000?  Did they even have insurance at all?  These questions typically have to be answered when reviewing a case.  Before this happens to you, please feel free to give us a call so we can discuss what types of insurance coverages are available to you when you purchase insurance.  You would be amazed that at hardly any extra cost to you the type of insurance coverages you can add to your policy, as well as the dollar amount of coverage, you can have that will protect you and your family!  We give FREE CONSULTATIONS on all types of cases so do not hesitate to call when you have a legal matter you need to discuss.
